Some more footage. Basically the same thing as before but it contains the beginning of the demo and gives a taste of NPC interactions. Also damn, I know this footage is not in a very good quality but it looks incredible for a id Tech 4 game. Hell, so far it actually looks pretty damn good compared to current games as well. Can't wait.

Watching the gameplay footage, it looks much better than i initially perceived. I'm still not really excited but I'll keep my eyes open.

I was perplexed for the move of Prey into a free roaming world, but after seeing the first in-game scenes (the first video released was a live action one) my expectations grew up.

All I wanted was a direct sequel

This game looks kinda cool but having aliens and throwing Tommy in as a side character doesn't make it Prey 2. It should have been a new IP.

There was so much untapped potential for Prey with the Portals and the way the first game ended.

Well what is the definition of a side character? Tommy is said to play a significant role in the game. What is the minimum acceptable role for Tommy in order that should count a "Prey 2"?

Tommy will be a supporting character. He plays a pretty large roll in the story.

Although originally opposed to it, I rather like what they came up with for this game - especially the art direction. I like Human Head a lot so I hope this isn't true.

I loved first Prey,still do,it was obvious to me that i have to play the sequel once it would came out.Original Prey brought some fresh air into a quite abit stagnant and boring genre which became a "cul-de-sac" or "blind alley" (in my personal opinion).Since i really care about FPP shooters,i ask does it have to be like this ? Cant it be more evolutionary ? I deeply believe it can be fun,creative,something that would made you hungry for more,you know what they say ? Skye is the limit,imagination boundless.Still keep my fingers crossed for Prey 2 which if released this or following year could became GOTY.Prey is the last shooter worth mentioning,even though its been long 6 years now which is kind of sad........and if someone ask me to recommend good shooter,that would be old Prey.

This is good to hear. Something seems odd to me though. I would like to see some more information on "what happened". Hmmm...

The main reason this game is of interest to me is because getting the "feel" of platforming, climbing and so on, in a first person view, is VERY difficult, and the video footage I saw looked like they might have "done it".
