Deep Sea Rising
My map is finally done. It took me 5 weeks, the longest I ever worked on one map.
It's about underwater facility. It's quite big, and there is lots of room for exploration. Some pictures: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() KNOWN GLITCHES/BUGS: In the cave area, there is a misallignment. Attempts to fix this resulted in... more missallignments, so i left it alone for now. There are 2 places where there is a possibility of getting the Room-Over-Room blur out bug, though this is not extremely noticeble and changes are you only get it if you try so on purpose. -- There are 2 different map version. Since my little brother dislikes the protozoid slimer with a passion ( as do I ), i made a version with and without it. The capitilized 'DEEPSEARISING' is eggified, the other is not. I recommend using the background music 'Xplasma' or 'Gloomy', since the Dethtoll.mid standard midi sucks ass. Have fun, and report any problems/ bugs to me.

Yeah, 3DR doesn't have many Dukers left (well, it has a couple regulars I guess)
Post it at AMC, there's many professionals there who will have a lot of advice.

Just played the map.
Nice going, the map had some nice effects, like the sound sequence, and the spriteworks were nice. I also liked your alienish rooms. Next time I would sugest, using more door sounds, a few of them, and diferent kinds of doors, the same door sound all the time gets repetative and enoying. But gameplay and puzzles worked rather well. Good work, hope to see more from you. (y)

Hmm, I thought standarizing all the doors would increase realism, but it seems i was wrong.
