Please! Your making me cry.....

As well as scaring the nuns!

AS for Crystal Caves, I like it. Milo follows the path laid down by Dig Douglas.

Ahem.

Crystal Caves rules! I love trying to beat each stage without getting hit so that I can get the $50,000 bonus. There are times when I'll try over 30 times to beat a stage without getting hit. The gameplay is also great. I highly reccommend it. $10 is well worth it for such a great classic game.

Okay, I'll admit it. I suck. Take Monica Lewinsky, combine her with a vacuum cleaner and a black hole, and that's how much I suck.

I liked the game. Not enough to buy the full version, but it was a good game nonetheless.

Don't forget to take into account the time factor when comparing games like that. Crystal Caves was released back in 1991, and back then, not too many people had sound blasters, VGA cards, 286+ CPUs, or more than 640k of memory. Sure, you might like to say it sucks compared to what's available today, but cast your mind back to when it was released, where all games were like that...

I liked it at the time I first came across it, I used to like challenging my brother to get the highest score out for each episode.
While the graphics were OK, though all 3 episodes used the same graphics, enemies, sounds (except for the title/final screens) which was somewhat dissapointing, I reckon it was pretty unique/interesting with some of it's gameplay features, such as reversible/low gravity, other hazards, treasure chests/key etc...

Crystal caves ruled. However I think that "Secret Agent" was far superior.

Re: Crystal caves is a crappy game, right?
Crystal Caves and Secret Agent are still one of my favorite games.
I really love those games.

Well, I like all those Old Apogee platform games: Duke Nukem, Commander Keen , Hocus Pocus, Bio Menace and Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure.

If I would have more time for myself, I would like to make fan pages for all those games, maybe it will happen some day.

Where they will be hosted? at www.cpgaming.com of course
