Duke Nukem Plushies (And other merchandise)
Wouldn't it be cool if there where Duke Nukem plushies? They have sounds, like Duke Nukem holding his RPG, and if you press his stomach he says one liners. Or there could be an Assault Trooper, or even a pig cop.
If Duke Nukem had lots of merchandising, what would it be? Cereal? More toys? R/C Duke Nukem on his Motorbike?

Re: Duke Nukem Plushies (And other merchandise)
Honestly if there were, there would most likely be more shirts, posters and figures. There NEEDS to be more Duke shirts! I have never came upon a really good Duke shirt on eBay. I'm actually getting a custom shirt made for myself. I am really praying that sometime in the near future, some figures company like Sideshow Collectibles or First 4 Figures will release a new highly detailed Duke Nukem statue! I doubt we would ever see actual Duke cereal. That creates a great idea! Someone on this forum should make mockup of a box of Duke cereal using Photoshop :P Would make for a few good laughs. I would really LOVE to see some Duke graphic novels/comics or just plain novels in general. I'm sure some of you have some really neat ideas floating around.

Re: Duke Nukem Plushies (And other merchandise)
I agree about the shirts. I have some original shirts, but I have more that I made for myself due to the lack of official Duke Nukem t-shirts. I guess they just don't make enough money on merchandise to bother with it. Not sure... anyway, here is an image I took a while back of some of my shirts... I made the two on the far right. I have some others that I made, but when I took this image I was just showing the amount of fade that occurs over time with the Duke Xtreme shirts.

MrBlackCat,
I LOVE the "Damn I'm looking good" shirt! Is that a custom? Those Duke Xtreme shirts are very common on eBay. Not really the kind of Duke shirt I would want to wear. I've also seen some TERRIBLE knockoff Duke shirts online. I am actually designing my own shirt in Photoshop as we speak. |

Re: Duke Nukem Plushies (And other merchandise)
I'd definitely like an R/C "Mighty Foot" monster truck. But not as lame as those R/C "Mario karts" that can only go forward at a fixed speed, go back at a fixed speed and cannot turn left at all. I'd demand at least the same degree of control I had with the R/C car that was bought for me some 23 years ago, with completely analog controls so you could control the speed and how much to steer.

I don’t know where the “Damn I’m Looking Good” shirt came from actually, but it has tiny copy write indicators and such on it. It says Duke Nukem TM 1999 Digital Realms, Produced under license by Balzout, Inc. (LOL!) I have never seen another one that I can remember. I like the Duke Xtreme shirts myself as it reminds me of the night vision. I also liked the 3rd Person Duke game Time to Kill, so I used that image to make at least 5 shirts for myself. I also added the Nuke symbol to many of my shirts. I have lots of Radio Controlled things like planes, boats, motorcycles, and trucks. (mostly low end, but some high-end) so a Duke Nukem monster truck, I would buy if it wasn’t too cheap as Altered Reality mentioned of the Mario Cart one which was an OBVIOUS franchise sellout or exploitation. Grrr. It seems to me that the Duke Nukem Action figures didn't do that well according to Resaurus, and that was with Duke Nukem at the top of his game. I guess the possibility of any merchandise will be based on the success of Duke Nukem Forever if it some how was released. I doubt we will see any of these things really, but should they come about, I would probably be getting one. We shall see. MrBlackCat

Re: Duke Nukem Plushies (And other merchandise)
There was mention of a DNF toy-line back in 1999, including a pig-cop, that when you push a button on his back, he would explode into gibs.
Talking about the "Mighty foot" Monster Truck, I have an old R/C Monster Truck that still works, I might aswell make my own one. Give it a Orange paintjob, with Radioactive symbol on the back, and I may even put a DN figure in there. I'll get started on it.

Re: Duke Nukem Plushies (And other merchandise)
I guess I could do that as well...
Not any time soon though. Looks like if us fans want anything Duke Nukem related we have to make it ourselves. MrBlackCat

Love that Lookin Good shirt, we really need Duke shirts when Forever comes out. Might have to make one of my own as well.
