Red face DNF Italian fan
hello to all I have 22 years.I am Italian. but i don't speak english. the my passion of duke i did come here to write ..
. also in Italy DN3D and DNF they are much famous. I love those games. and I love the 3d realms that it produces games with
passion. the 3d realms with DN3d has revolutionized the world of the videogames. I have played for years to that game and us game still! now there is DNF from years in
working. if the DNF of 1998 and 2003 exited they would have been happened world-wide. those games were already advanced

graphic, gameplay, duke, story….etc many advanced other games of that time.
but the 3drealms it wants to create the definitive game “super interactive” and has used many years of hard job.
in Italy the persons offend DNF: "is a joke!" "is ugly" for the reason of insufficient material.but they do not understand that is DNF
ready to once again write the history of the videogames.

George Broussard does not want to make to see the DNF progress because he has fear that the others softwarehouse copy technology of the game and arrives to its same level (impossible ). or george want to make we a surprise!

now we speak about the footage:

Jace Hall has been fortunate to see the game. its show now is much famous.
the footage it a lot old but it is already fantastic! the 3drealms it is good, the 3drealms works well, proceeds well.
I care it is old more of a years
unfortunately the video makes to see little and only the expert persons of videogames can understand that it is fantastic! I have seen approximately 30

times and im astonished!!!! after much wait I was happiest.

In conclusion after know the game and 3drealms:

- DUKE NUKEM FOREVER coming soon in 2008 or maximum beginning 2009
- before on DNF there was the date but George has erased and written “when is done” because fear not to respect the date and not
to disappoint its fan.
- the next trailer is in working and exits coming soon
- the game will allow to interact with all
- the duke to las vegas it will be able to use slot machine, videogames (and to perhaps play to duke nukem 1 and 2 and old ones titol them of the 3drealms and apogee)

some things that I have fear:
2003 trailer' more miscellaneous and more funny DNF is more dark(doom3 and quake4)
the game in multiplayer is more limited and less "super interctive"
that DNF is only a great game and that with too much competition does not succeed to destroy other beautiful games (call of duty4,halo3,half life 2 etc…)
council:
- more material for the fun as it wait for their patience
- more spot

IMPORTANT!

*****I have a dream...I WOULD LIKE GEORGE BROUSSARD TO SAY HELLO TO ME and from more 3d'realms stuff*****

excused the topic along and the ugly language.
ciao ciao

Me too! That's pretty cool.

Anyway, I would not worry about your English, it was very well spoken. Most Americans have a terrible grasp of English, myself included. It's like Bruce Willis said in The Fifth Element, "I only speak two languages, English and bad English."

This is not true. There is no release date information for DNF, none at all, either as a deliberate policy or because 3DR themselves have no idea when it will be finished.

It may be released in 2008.
It may be released in early 2009.
It may be released in late 2009.
It may be released in 2015.
It may never be released.

We don't know.

Just an advice. I can see you have used a translator because you have no spelling errors. Try to use your own english. Even if it is limited with looots of errors it is nicer to read than something from a translator. But I understand that with the size of your post it would be a little overwhelming.

But if you understand this you can write a little .. do it and drop the translator..

I'm posting in spanish forums as well to improve my .. well spanish .. a little hard though because when you struggl ewith the language you really get your ass kicked in discussions

Maybe you spanish speaking guys could recommend the best spanish gaming site ??

I can't really speak Spanish, but I understand the written language enough to translate that sentence. It means "The people, united, will never be defeated".

In many languages people speak like this and not "I am 22 years old" probably this version even prevails in the world.

Grammar in every language is different so if you don't know the rules you simply apply rules from your own language to the target one.

What's more very very often when English speakers can't understand what a person means in his/her text those who learn it as a second language have no problems with it.

Duke goes internatinal!

to Kitsumi32: Anime fans reached 3DR forum, yay! ^_^ What do you think about Duke as an Anime hero? That would be pretty awesome

Re: DNF Italian fan
I'm curious now...how well does Duke's speech work with people who don't speak English?

The OP is using automated translation, which is amusingly bad but mostly understandable most of the time. It's far better than nothing. They say they do not speak English, not just that they don't speak English well. Presumably, they are feeding replies into an automatic translation service to translate them into Italian.

Anyway...Duke's speech is going to be particularly difficult to translate, because it's very colloquial. A person who doesn't speak English might be able to use something to translate Duke's speech into a language they do speak, but the meaning might be different. For example, an automatic translation program tells me that "Come get some" is "Kom och få lite" in Swedish...but does "come get some" have the same meaning in Swedish?

I remember the time when 40 year old guys were playing Doom and couldn't make farther than lvl 5. And when the same guys were playing D3d, they just played for as long as they could. I tryed D3d right after Doom 2 and I was just shocked by the level of interactivity and gameplay. The game itself was considered as unique in the genre.
