Replacing Textures?
Hello

I'm a huge fan of Max Payne since it's release.
What a cool game I'm replaying it regulary.

And always I wonder why there are no proper graphics mod (to improve various things like textures, effects etc)

Is there a way to replace original level-textures?
Is there maybe a way if re-render every level with custom textures while keeping the game intact?

I would passionately replace those textures with hirres counterparts

In order to replace all of the textures inMax Payne to High-Res you would have to have access to all of the games MaxEd (the game engine used to make Max Payne), LVL level files, which are not avalible, as there was only ever 2 level's of the game released in this state, as example level's for modders to learn from.

You would need all of these level files because you need to be able to access the level's build in MaxEd to be able to change the textures & then compile the level's again with it's new textures in place.

This is why no one has ever been able to do this before.

Sorry to dissapoint you mate...
