Keen Gun Ranked Maps
Just out of curiosity, what maps are currently in the Ranked playlist? I know Spin Cycle and Stadium, but what else?

Also, do 1-on-1 and FFA use seperate playlists?

Spin Cycle
Stadium
Hollywood Holocaust
Freeway

That's all I've seen and played.

I've yet to try 1-on-1 yet

Though I have a possibility of doing one with George

Joe, since you have a dev kit around, couldn't you, just for fun, take screenshots of when you happen to have a match with some guys from the forums and save it on the PC, and show them here sometime..?

Just thought it would be fun...

No can do. The devkits have their own separate Xbox Live. You can't see "the public" with those. I brought up my 360 from home to play from my office today.

So there's no way to properly take ingame screenshots on a public ranked server then, that's a damn shame really...

I hope people are having fun though, of course i bet they are

We'll potentially tweak and update the ranked match playlist over time. Send feedback.

What's best place to send feedback?

So far all dukematches had some little lag, but game shows that I'm the only one with full green.

Piracy! Do we have Piracy? If we don't we should have it.
That is my all time favorite map.

Piracy? That's not a map name - which one are you referring to?

That's good to hear that developers are listening!

IS it possible for you to make some kind of FAQ (ex. Includes what maps are rotating in multiplayer, what the numbers on the right mean in lobby...) from Multiplayer?

I believe he's referring to the N64 port, that map was on there, it was a pirate ship... :P

I liked that level, a theme park, hehe...
It's pretty big though, does a complex map like this work for Duke matches..?

For the record, i am one of the unlucky persons who never got to play it online back in the days, i never actually played any of the maps for multiplayer in Duke3D ever... so i'm not familar with complex maps for matches being nromal or not... -Are they normal in Duke Matches..?

When we were doing the dev of the game, Bryan & myself spent a lot of time going through all the maps, and figuring out which ones fit 1x1 play vs 6 player and that kind of thing.

If you play Ranked, we've sort of taken care of that for you - we don't put stupid huge gigantic levels like Derelict or The Abyss in the rotation.

It isn't if you know the whole level layout. There's a couple really good shortcuts that make it smaller than you think it is.

Well that's thoughtful of you guys
It would be pretty confusing i could imagine, even for an 8 player match, in one of such levels...

I guess, more arena-like levels are more appropriate (levels that have these typical open areas where people are bound to meet up, or where paths eventually lead into each others rather than some new location for added confusion to the player)...

I envy all the people who have so much fun with this game online, again...

It's the same ship if I recall correctly. For the 64 version the ship part was cut of from the rest and used as a DM only map. Duke Burger is in there as a DM maps as well.

Duke Burger was actually a secret map in Duke 64, it was accessed from near the end of Red Ligh-- uhh, "Gun Crazy".

No, it's random - there's nothing you can do except back out and try again if you don't want to play the level chosen.

Piracy was a map in the N64 version of the game which featured a pirate ship in water next to a fort on land. Best map ever.
I know the differences between the PC and 64 version, so I figured it wouldn't be here. I was just saying it would be cool if it was, that was the sweetest map ever.
