Well clearly this is the case as there has been more and more of the game being revealed after years of almost absolute silence.

The Octabrain's howl used to scare me shitless. When you heard more than one, you knew you were ******. Damn those things hurt! And I totally forgot some of Duke's best levels were underwater. Hope they bring back some of it in DNF. An underwater base would be awesome.

I think the more important statement is that Scott said E3 is irrelevant. I think that is bigger news than this business about DNF development going along nicely. We knew that already.

His comments on E3 and DNF not being shown at it etc is slightly more ground breaking.

A statement like that isn't really correct. Your assuming.

Just because DNF runs on a version of the Unreal Engine, doesn't mean it's in any way comparable with games released on the UE3.
3DRealms have completely rewritten the rendering code. We can't make statements or assumptions like that.

Even if it may be true.

Not to mention the UT3 demo was HORRIBLY optimized compared to the actual game.

Maybe its just my lack of sleep, but im having a hard time with your meaning. Do you mean the demo was optimised "too much" by comparison to the final product, or that its nowhere near as optimised as the retail game?

As in, the demo really didn't show the actual game's graphics and whatnot and it just ran crappily compared to the full version.

Demo ran horrible on even my brand new computer, but the full version worked perfectly fine on high settings.

So if they are not on the E3, i hope they give some feeds and informations to the Games Convention (20.-24.08.2008 in Leipzig /Germany)

But still my favourite is a playable part on the new GAMESCon @ 9.-13th of September in Cologne/Germany

perhaps the guys @ 3dr can confirm some of the dates....perhaps...they are the only ones who know what to do.

I agree, I think E3 is irrelevant at this point as I'd rather the development team not take a week off to fly to L.A. or wherever E3 is hosted nowadays and stop development. Something off the site would be nice though, like a new vid or some kinda date.

The size of the dumbbell means nothing. What if the dumbbell were made out of pure gold? Anyway, I don't know why we are having this discussion.

When you work out you need to do loads of reps in different angles so you got to start with light weights.

I used not anymore work out with weights.
