3dsmax char. export
i'm just resinstal my 3d studio max and now when i'm trying to export a new character it's showing me
ERROR: Node Bip01 has a 0 material(3DSMax default material) ERROR: Could not find physique modifier for skinning (object "Bip01") Export process canceled due to error(s) encountered. but everything except character is hidden. What's the problem? |

Just a wild guess, but you did you delete the square grid thing that appears underneath the character, it's kind of like a placeholder floor.. that's the only error i came across in 3ds max..

There's a "bip_01_footstep" bone which is frozen. Make sure to unfreeze it and then hide it. No idea if that's the issue.

Bip01 is hidden in the pelvis bone and when the skeleton is hidden, the bip01 represented by a diamond is still visable. You need to hid this manually if you haven't already done so. Thats why the other error about the material used is coming up.

What is the best computer for using Auto CAD & 3D Max Viz? What kind of computer should I buy, if I use those programs together? PC or Mac? And also please give me the suggestion of the computer system?

Hi all! I have one question about character attachment in 3D Max. Can i attach a model to the skeleton that has unbended fingers? Will they be arcuated in the game and it will not be any animation problems? Sorry for my language, i am from Ukraine and my eng. is bad))

No. You have to bend the fingers slightly so it syncs with the flow of the skeleton.

I got a question, once i've exported a character from milkshape to 3d's and imported it in 3d's max what should i do in order to change his clothes and face textures.the character appears with no textuers ..what steps should I follow?or what window should i go?
---------- Post added at 04:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:05 PM ---------- what i want to do is to change the enemy's clothes, not only the main one e.g. (martin_L0.kfs) but also(martin_set01.kfs, martin_set02.kfs, martin_set03.kfs) i want him to wear other clothes and to have different faces, i couldn't do it in milkshape so maybe i could in 3d's max what should i do to change a character textures in 3d's max? |
