At the risk of sounding selfish, given there's so little community left, wouldn't it make sense to keep it all in one place, and not try and fracture it by creating new things?

I'm not stopping you, if you want to go, go right ahead, but I think the community should be brought together - not apart.

I say that all the time about the Doom ports and such, but no one listens. They continue to separate the community till eventually no one is left.

I don't get that many posts anymore about either winrott or winrottgl, I take
that to mean that most people interested in winrott (or rott in general) is
mostly satisfied with the state of the ports as they are at the moment, but
if something new pops up on your forums, that's fine! I'm always open
to new ideas...

Well, I agree with what you say...yet you never know. maybe more forums bring ROTT more attention and so more perople willing to mod it.
