The files contain a pre-weighted skin attached to a skeleton that
is ready for export
does that mean we can do animations with this skeleton that the tutorial speaks of?

EnigmaZ- This is from the readme file included...
"This is a set of 3dsmax5 files which will help you create and export custom made character skins and skeleton animations for Max Payne 2."
So I'd say that this is indeed what a lot of people have been waiting for.

It's just the code of the Jedi, and has been since George Lucas made it up for his movie, Star Wars. And of course one memorizes the code of the Jedi, it's basic human knowledge, and it might come in handy some day..

Oh, and of course i've played KOTOR too much, it's a great game.

And to make this post on-topic:

Are these bones universal? Meaning I can create animations for every existing character in the game?

Re: [MP2] Tutorial Update 0.7 - Skins, bones, & more
I don't know if anyone else has this problem so I'll just post it here. They say that you have to uncheck "Body Space Neck rotation", but for some reason it doesn't show up under Keyframing tools (see image).
I have the 3dsmax 5.1 and character studio 4.1, so it should show up.

Anyone got more experience on this territory?

Actually, someone just finished those up for me a few days ago. Didn't need bones for them.

Kozak, I have the same thing also. I couldn't find any reference to it.

Also the Remedy Physique Tool doesn't seem to work either. Anyone else have this problem or is it just me? And yes I have everything installed correctly and followed the tutorial to the letter.

Re: [MP2] Tutorial Update 0.7 - Skins, bones, & more
You can convert mesh kf2's into 3ds format with milkshape. Works fine.

To bad ken decided not to do kung fu...but to be honest..he wouldn't have been able to implement the same system he had in MP1. The number of moves would be limited to about 3 - 4 kung fu moves with no level up system. But I hope someone DOES put in maxtrix dodging/flips with rifles/ and possibly wall running(not sure if it can still be done). If an animator makes them i'll do the code for you. I gained alot of experience on how to mix animations when i tweaked the KF3 mod.

No, they said screw this standard 3d program, we'll make a custom one just for our spoiled modders so they don't have to make an effort of getting it, so you can download RemedySuppa3D from this address: http://www.programsthatdontexist.com/RemedySuppa3D/
