Hi and welcome

You've posted in the wrong area but I'm sure the mods will move it

Right:
You need to download a Duke Nukem 3D port to allow it to work on Vista. I personally use xduke (More info on xduke: http://www.gel.ulaval.ca/~klein/duke3d/).

There's also the most popular port named eduke32 but it has sound problems under Vista. It allows new high-res textures and player models.

Ok seeking two routes as with my problem in plutionium pak. They say to take out the grp file on the disk and put it in eduke32.exe but there is no grp file just a IDF? Do i use that?

You'll have to use DOSBox to install the Plutonium Pack seeing as the GRP file seems to be encrypted on the CD. The only way to get it out is to install it the regular way, but since that doesn't work in WinXP+ you'll have to install it with DOSBox.
