Artists of the artwork produced for the older games
I was wondering if anyone knew who was the artist responsible for the artwork that is present on the catalog pages/manual of many of the legacy Apogee titles. Been looking around but have been unable to find any answer for that question.

Re: Artists of the artwork produced for the older games
It should say right on each manual or catalog somewhere. For instance, one Apogee catalog lists Steven Maines as producer:
http://www.scribd.com/doc/134559074/Apogee-Catalog and my Realms of Chaos manual lists Les Dorscheid as cover artist and Michael Hadwin as graphic designer. |

Thanks for that, that was extremely helpful. Don't know why I didn't think about looking for this in the manual credits.
There are a few games I still wasn't able to find the answer for though, so any information would be very welcome: Bio Menace Commander Keen: Aliens Ate My Baby Sitter! Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure: Forbidden Planet Death Rally Monster Bash Spear of Destiny |

Quote:
The Spear of Destiny credits Kevin Cloud for the cover and art. http://www.3drealms.com/tech/manuals/Death%20Rally.pdf I don't see any credits in the Death Rally manual, but the Apogee FAQ leads me to believe that the manual was made internally by GT Interactive. http://www.3drealms.com/tech/manuals/Keen%206.pdf Keen 6 also doesn't credit anyone in the manual, the work may have also been done internally at FormGen. As for Bio Menace, Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure, and Monster Bash, I've never seen the manuals for those games. =/ But that era is covered in the Apogee FAQ: http://rinkworks.com/apogee/s/4.3.8.shtml Sorry I couldn't be of more help! |
