"We're really excited about bringing classic Duke to the 360," said Miller during an interview. "We're talking to Microsoft about getting a release slot sometime this year."

So late 2008/early 2009.

That website looks like something that wouldn't kid around with such news though...

Or is it one of those public submitted news sites..?
Personally, i expect more of a 2009, sounds far more realistic... The same year as when the teaser was shown though would be quite a shock to me..!

It certainly is... but for whatever reason they saw fit to delete the last thread, and that happened just a few minutes prior to this one going up.

Maybe they were planning some sort of announcement, but this site leaked the info too early?

I originally read the article linked in the now deleted thread, and I could swear it mentioned something about more info being available about 3DR in something comming out on Feb. 15th.

I don't seem to see that now... am I going mad?

I was really hoping for a 2011 20th anniversary release.. Anyway, this is no reason to lose hope yet. Until the game's officially out, everything 3D Realms is saying is just speculation.

Look, I don't think we should be getting our hopes up. If the last topic was deleted, it's probably because they still don't want to say anything really "official," on the off-chance that something does come up and they don't release it in that estimated time period. We know well in the past they've been wrong, so they're probably hesitant to set anything in stone.

A couple of rocket blasts will take these out, and way too many pistol shots to even worry about using it. Stick and move is also a good attack to use against Caco's since they are in no hurry to get anywhere fast.
