Virtual reality Duke 3D
Here in Pittsburgh, we have an amusement park called Kennywood... several years ago, in their arcade, there was a virtual reality Duke 3D machine. Five bucks would get one play - you had a helmet on your head, and you held a little joystick with a gun trigger on it. Later on, they replaced it with a virtual "Duke It Out In DC".

Was this exclusive to Kennywood, or did other virtual Dukes exist???

Well, you wore a helmet so you could see the level, and you were holding a joystick. You pushed the joystick to walk forwards or backwards, and pressed the button on it to shoot. (There was probably an open button as well, I can't remember.) If you turned, Duke turned; and if you jumped, Duke jumped. The way you moved your head affected where Duke was looking, also.

I actually wish we got the Doom one instead... VR Doom is probably a hell of a lot easier than the Duke one was. (I tried it a couple times... I ended up getting killed not long after entering the theatre. It was a major pain in the ass.)

We have one of those VR things at my arcade. It's pretty simple.
