The trailer makes MP2 seem much more "action movie" than MP1 was.

Wow, that was good. I thought it was awesome when he was sliding along the platform on his side firing off the uzis, until he slid off. That was badass. I wonder if they threw that segment at the end in where he's falling out of the building to relate it back to 'the fall of max payne'

I'm trying not to analyze things to death in the trailer because I don't want to spoil things for myself, but I noticed something interesting. Freeze the movie at the part near the beginning where he stands up with that one woman in front of him. Look in the background and look at the person against the wall. Looks like....max?

I also thought of something else in the movie, but I think it's too much of a possible spoiler so i'm going to try and forget about it

It looks like a lineup of suspects, but thats pretty obvious...this trailer just made more questions rise out of me than answers. Good work, Remedy!

Right before 1:20, a friend noticed the no-friction walking bug, and it kinda bugged him (no pun intended). Does this happen often in the game, or is that just a quick occurance?

At around 45 seconds, max is running towards a guy and shooting him. Watch closely and you'll see Max's coat clip the side of his stomach.

I hope that doesn't happen too often....

Also, at 1:23, an enemy switches weapons! I hope its not from a cutscene because that would be a really cool feature.

At 26 seconds you get a great look at his beretta. It looks amazing and is worth pausing to check out.

About the second max...maybe its placeholder, because he's holding a pistol. That seems odd since its obviously a lineup of suspects. And that part goes by really quick, maybe its just there to confuse us?

And finally, it sounds like the gun effects have had the volume cranked up. This was apparent in all the videos released, but no one mentioned it yet.

Oh sweet mother of jesus! Heaven!

Yes, the line up looks a little odd, but we'll find out in a week.

One thing that is just awesome: at 1:08, a baddie throws a molotov, and just as this happens, Max shoots it in mid-air, blowing it up, and catching the dude on fire. Simply amazing. That probably won't happen in the game too often, but it's a very cool feature.

7 days feels like a very long time now.

The part where the merc dropped his Ingrams and pulled out a pistol was great. It bugs me how at the beginning the guy with the SVD can look through the scope with night vision goggles on but anyway...

The motion blur and the dodge/reload out in the street was amazing...I hope that we can slide along and fall off those platforms in the game

Damn that trailer was awesome. Actually it's better than most movie trailers. Dunno about that shadow thing, but the loading images in the game seemed to have a different shadow than character in some of the ones I saw, not sure what's the deal with that, but it might have something to do with the game. You know, in some Star Wars posters Anakin's shadow resembled Darth Vader

I have to mention that the music was incredible! Was that made specifically for the trailer? And also will there be an option to make the screen ratio to look like that in the game? or was that just something you did for the trailer.

Actually to me it looks like it's a sketchboard with a picture they are looking at. Probably the lineup someone picked Max from, because as you know, this time he admits to a murder (in the end I assume since the game is telling how he got there, like in Max Payne the original).

Rockstar really knows how to put a trailer together. Their first commercial for GTA3 was incredible. This trailer is right up there.

No it isn't. Have a look at the attachment.

Then look at the space below it and look at the frame structure of the window. It's impossible for that to be the bottom of the window.

Also look at the pic of max in the background. It's a flat 2D pic.

You nearly had me convinced there, but try watching that part frame by frame. As Max gets up the camera follows, and you can clearly see that the room in the background is three dimensional (pay particular attention to the bottom part of the frame where Max stands up).

You know, the funny part is, if Max wasn't in the background as well, no-one would be overanalysing such a trivial thing as this.

Er, anyway; just goes to show what a good trailer this. Nice work!
