What happened to Major Stryker source code?
It was up on the site's main download page just a few months ago. But then I checked back just a couple weeks later and it was gone, and it hasn't reappeared since. I don't know what happened. Maybe one of the website builders hired to work on the site accidentally put up the link and later realized their mistake (that 3DR wasn't ready to release it yet) and so they removed it from the page. I didn't download it at the time, but now I'm kicking myself in the rear for not having downloaded it. I've checked on Archive.org but they don't have it, or if they do it is only valid for one week and so I'm not sure if Archive.org got a capture of the page at that point in time. Did anyone else download it from the 3DR site when it was up? If so, can you upload it to Megaupload and PM me a download link for it? Thanks in advance.

I don't think the source code for Major Stryker has ever been released. At least, no announcement has been made. If it was up there it was definitely by accident and would be intriguing to get hold of.

According to RGB Classic Games the full version has been released as freeware, but there's no source code.

My understanding was that it was on a long-dead floppy.

I wouldn't mind getting my hands on the source code for Cosmo! >8D (That is, if it still exists... I can only hope and pray... *prays*)

At this point, I'd be surprised if the source code for any of the classic DOS platformers are still around. Even iD's lost the source for the various Keen games, and they're usually big with keeping source codes.

Computer guys are strange to me... I have original source for every system I have written anything on from 1984 to present. (I also have every real email I have ever received and most all BBS chat logs starting in the late 80's)

I learn from it... like that the good ole days weren't always good. I guess these guys don't need to learn from anything?
Part of me says "What is wrong with these people?!" but another part of me just says "What is wrong with ME?!" Kind of cancels out I suppose.

In the end, the irony is that I haven't written anything (personal) worth saving really... but I saved it all anyway.
