hi hall i just cant get duke plus to work.
iv add a copy of eduke32 log,can anybody help?

you are missing duke3d.grp file
copy it from your cd

duke3d.grp file should be in the same folder as eduke32.exe

I'm guessing this is a person who just installed the new HRP that comes with Duke Plus and didn't realize that he needed the original game.

Since this thread is about duke plus;

When I die while using it, it doesn't seem to let me restart the level. I always have to get out of it and start it through user maps or load my last save game, which is sometimes a while back. Any help is greatly appreciated.

DT, I just played this for the first time yesterday and I can't tell you how much it completely rocks! Thanks for all the hard work, and thanks to all the modellers and mappers who helped make it happen.

Oh, thanks! My kids are giving me a hard time right now and early morning allergy attacks have robbed me of sleep, so it's nice for my mood to have some positive feedback.

DT, you should take some Benadryl. Its the best for allergies, in my opinion, and it'll make you sleepy!

True, DukePlus has really improved the gameplay and graphics (if that was even possible), but let's not forget what this person said:

I am not able to replicate the problem. When I die, I press the open key and the level restarts, as it is supposed to. I have tried this with my current version and also with the version that comes with the HRP.

Could you add an option for 'Invisible Blocking Sprites' to block bullets too, please?

IMO that´s unnecessary since the whole point about the invisible blocking sprites is not blocking bullets.

Just put any blocking sprite and add the invisible value (32768) to the flags (hex) field.

Remember, just make the sprite as it should work and then sum 32768 to the flags.

Hey guys;

I just have the same error as longy; installed original game right from cd; installed the HRP, latest version, and then tried installing dukeplus, but everytime I start it, it says errors are found in the .con file. Any suggestions?

Unless you provide your eduke32.log we can't help you with much as we have no idea what is going on.
