Fundraiser?

I was thinking that maybe if Duke4 put up a donation we could chip in some
money and help out 3DR.

I don't know how popular Duke4 is, but if it is popular I bet we can get a pretty substantial amount to help out 3DR.

I really do think that the game is still in development, what do you guys think?

I also think DNF if still in development because one of their former employees keep posting leaked footage on youtube, with annotations regarding 3DR and sometimes directly George.

We were already ready to contribute to the fund. We just wanted a little box with some scribbles and graphics on the outside containing a DVD with a bunch of binary code on it in return.

I'm guessing it would be illegal for them to accept money from us.

They could have gone public and sold shares, but I'm not really sure if many game companies their size do that, let alone would be able to find the amount of buyers they wanted.

In fact, what? Two of the three 3dr employee license plate photos on that page were taken before Duke3d was released. The last pic doesn't belong to anyone from 3dr.

How about that time id rented a drag strip, and they all brought their cars out? There were ferraris/porsches/corvette/viper present at that time. Not saying selling expensive cars to fund DNF is a real option, but I think neither was the person you were responding to.

That doesn't mean anything. George Broussard still had admin powers around here so he would make it himself or he would give authority to any of the site admins to put up the banners.

The court thing has not been "Disposed" as in thrown out. It has been disposed, as in moved to federal court.
