Remember the part when the posessed kid spikes the other kid? Right after that the "mother" gets in your head and says "these ghostly abominations were not here before your son arrived". What was she talking about? Who's son?

I've been wondering that aswell. Although I think the ship actually addresses a name after the "arrived" part. I'd have to check again to be sure.

I have a feeling the ghosts will make a lovely return in Prey II.

That's easily resolved: it's "...before your sudden arrival". She was talking about the falling bridge where you suddenly re-appeared from nowhere (well, from the Land of the Ancients of course, but she doesn't know that yet).

I believe the mother actually says
"these ghostly abominations were not here before your sudden return" or something along those lines.

Thats exactly what it says in the demo and full PC versions, im quite sure. I think it means, when tommy came back from the dead, somehow, he brought "wraiths" and shit with him, which then go on the rampage or something.

Probably. The ghosts look the same as the ones in DeathWalk, don't you think (except for the colour, of course)? Unfortunately there wasn't much more baout it in the game. The first time you fight the ghost girls was pretty intense, then they appeared another time later an sometimes thew ghosts fly around in a room without really doing anything. There was potential for much more, IMHO. But maybe they play a bigger role in Prey 2? Who know who or what Tommy has to fight then...

In the rare case that you see a wraith come out in the normal world, it'll fill up all your soul power if you shoot it - get into spirit mode quick when you first see it. Otherwise it'll take what you have left.

Don't they just vanish? I recall hitting them to and doing a*floop*dissapearing to return afterwards.

No, man - they'll totally refill your spirit power if you hit 'em too. Usually there's one loner around, so make that shot count.
