A re-edit of the wallpaper posted on the site.

I felt as if Duke needed to be added to this, so I am calling the picture "Rising Above The Rest" as it basically shows Duke being the god.

I am not giving myself full credit for this wallpaper, it's a simple layer edit. So I give 3D Realms the hell yeah for making the wallpaper to begin with.
I used PSP 9 to edit this. Just right click the photo, and view photo to see the full size. it's 1680x1050 should be good enough for anyone to use. If you want it smaller, you can shrink it down yourself.

A new edited one for JobivanHiob, he's no longer dead :P

Well, with the way that the lighting is in the center of the image, the "bright light" I wanted it to look as if it was reflecting off of him as well. If I would of made the image solid, it just wouldn't look right light wise. I will do another edit of the picture without any filtering on him and you can see what it looks like.

Yeah I wish this game would come out, or they would settle something and release good ol' Duke again. Hell, I'd even settle for cheap graphics. But figured I would make their wallpaper more Duke like, can't have a Duke Nukem wallpaper without Duke! Anyways, time for coffee and to dig my car out of 2 feet of snow woot.

When it comes to DNF the line between optimism and stupidity is very thin, especially after the 2006 engine change. I can admire such optimism, in fact I'm also hoping to play the game one day - what I don't admire is random theories based on nothing that should have the game out soon.

And it's true that this is a 3DR forum and all, but our best chance to play DNF (or any decent new Duke Nukem) is for T2 to win the lawsuit.
