wanton destruction question
okay, I'm using DosBox here. I typed in CD:\swarrior (for the shadow warrior directory) then typed in WANTDEST.BAT to play wanton destruction, but I start up riding that darn boat. Is there some way to know if I'm playing Wanton Destruction or the regular game. Where does Wanton destruction start anyways. I'm using ProAsm's version of WD

thanks

Re: wanton destruction question
ahhh, that version is ONLY for Swp.
You need the original 3dR version as that has a complete GRP file whereas mine only has the few extra's that are required.
Remember, not like Duke3d, original Sw did not accept user GRP files.
You can use mine but you will have to extract all the files out of the WantDest.grp and put all the files into your main Sw folder.

If you dont know how do to that look on your Sw CD for Kextract.exe and copy it into a new folder.
In that same folder you put WantDest.grp
Then Start - Run - browse to the Kextract.exe and add the following:
Kextract.exe WantDest.Grp *.*
It will now extract all the files which you need to copy into your main Sw folder.
The run Sw as normal, start the second episode and you'll immediately notice the WD maps.
