Prey LCE not working
Well it worked the first time
but then i saved my game and restarted it froze on the loadup screen twice.

I was also wondering if anyone else has had this problem and/or got it resolved

thanks!

Preyīs savegame folder uses a lot of space, if you have a small partition for your operating system it could be that there isnīt a lot of place left for the savegames and that prey canīt save all the info, that would explain why you canīt load the file

Yes, that's what also annoys me about PREY. Why didn't they left the save files where the game is installed...My OS partition is so tiny it makes me cry when I think of it...now with PREY on it I have to move files when I play and then clean up and return them. Hope there is a way where I can change the savefile path

PS: I might seem to bitch alot but I actually really like the game

You can put your swapfile on a different drive/partition.
That would free up a lot of space.

The problem is that I have only 800gig with one partition having 200 Gig for games. the games partition is almost empty while the rest is totally filled up. I Hate to have some files on a partition that doesn't belong there but have to because some games for some reason save at C:. Ah well, it's time to reinstall winXP anyway...so might give it 20 gig this time instead of 10.

Blame Microsoft. If you want certain certification, you have to meet certain things. Putting game saves in the "My Documents" area is a Microsoft Windows standard thing.

Prey is by far not the first game to do this. Won't be the last.

TBO I prefer it because of when I need to backup its simply copying one folder rather than hunting through game directories.

It also means you can reinstall without losing your saved games. It's probably just a question of getting used to it.
