The eggs look great, and I like the milk carton idea. Just might want to make it more clear it's referring to DNF, but I'm sure most of us Dukers would know.

I deconfigurated my desktop user color and... wow... what difference!
Maybe this new is better.



More contrast effects and a little saturation effect. ( I need stop configure my Video card control panel )

I love the looks of the flat metal bars. Very good 3D depth.

But the pipes should have a little less texture applied and they need a wider contrast between light and dark. Especially on the lower pipes. There is way too much white. Its kind of hard to explain.They just don't seem to have the shine of metal that they should. And the some of the shadows cast on the large pipes looks too wide. And I noticed the flat bars in back do not line up with the bars on the bottom. The front ones are close enough and look ok.

I attempted a quick re-make of just the bottom pipes. Its way harder than it looks. I'm not really sure it looks any better than Flackens version.

That look good, Marked.
But remember, in original Duke tile 4202, the light come for center instead above texture.
I try use same shadow effect in your quick re-make and go look ( maybe ) like this.



This one below is one experiment in try detail pipes a little more.

I'll load them both in the game after work tonight and see which looks better to me.

And yes, I have submitted about 30 textures so far to SW. There are a whole lot more to go.

I prefer the lower version also of Flakens 4202. I tried one last time making the pipes just for practice. We can use Flaken's version.The pic included in this post has 3 of the top pipes re-made and the bottom pipes are my "quick" re-make from before. There was a lot of cut and paste and some shadowing was left out. I was paying attention to only the pipe texture.

The ceiling tile texture looks good.

These are the two pipes I was messing with

I just cut and pasted all or different parts of them with slight modifications to try and keep them from all looking the same. Good luck. You did most of the hard work so I would like to have your version used in the game.

Imageshack is down so I'll have to try again after work tonight to view the texture. Looking at the small version compared to the original I see that the lighter glare needs to be added on the pipes at the two ends.

Ugh, recommendation to texture posters: Don't use imageshack!

It's really bogged down lately and it's a pain. Try using Imagebanana or one of the many other free image hosting sites!
