did he really say that Stadium is a custom creation? He must not have ever made it that far in the game.

I never really got into the Dukematching scene but it seems that steroids would really be an advantage in Stadium. . . man, I want to load up Duke3D right now.

Yeah, I was confused about that statement.

Steroids can be used defensively. If you are shrunk by someone with the shrinker, you can use steroids, and get out of it.

I knew the bit about the shrinker. Just, watching that video there were people zooming by on steroids and in a large open area like the Stadium, you can literally run circles around someone with the pistol or something. I imagine that would be effective.
What do the night vision goggles do though?

You can do that elsewhere. It's possible to do that in the street in Hollywood Holocaust as well.

In Dukematch, a Holoduke will not show up as an inverted color, where real players will.

I'm stoked. Just thought I'd let you know.

I haven't played multiplayer since Duke 64. Before that it was using MSN Gaming Zone for Duke on the PC. But this is going to be something special.

and its consistant 100% hits. It will never miss if you are shooting someone with it. most of my kills in stadium came from pistol.

I sat there and watched all 10 IGN videos and I must say they looked great! Looked like great fun was had by all and the vids were very crisp and clear. 12 years ago, did ya ever think Duke would come so far and get so advanced? How does it feel George?

Huh? "This version"? This is effectively the same as the PC version we've been selling for years. Ripper and Chaingun cannon are the same thing.

I know that Joe. I know they are the same thing. I'm just saying that on the PC the default user.con refers to it as Chaingun Cannon but in this port it's the Ripper. I was wondering why the decision to use that name this time?

I know but I mean on the display text. In that video when it was picked up it said Ripper. When I pick it up in my copy on the PC it says Chaingun Cannon.

This is the only change I'm suggesting. The pick up and pick up ammo text.

I just looked, in the "How to Play" area of the 360 help section; we call it a Ripper there, too.

I think it was called the Ripper in the original manual, and printed materials. the guns were "named" close to the end, when the printed materials were being done and I guess the in game name "chaingun cannon" just wasn't updated at that time.
