Cant Play Preg, HELP!! PLEASE!!

Ok so recently bought the game prey, tried various graphics drivers from old ones to the most up to date, iv tried updating my sound card and even applied the dual core fix. Here is what I get when i try and load the game.

Ok so, im a bit confused really guys. My system specs are
AMD x4200
I have 2 gig of ram
two geforce 7900GT 256mb GFX
XFI sound
320GIG SATA II
74GIG RAPTOR HD.

So as you can see my system is up to date component wise and likewise for all the correct drivers. I do have my 7900gts running in sli but I have also tried them in single mode. Does anyone have any suggestions before i sell prey on ebay?

wait, what is ur operating system, that is an id software error when vista is used and you may need to update windows probably if you have xp.

If your using Vista, the Developers said that they would release a patch specially for that Operating System.

If your using XP, it COULD be the data on ur CD. If you own the CD version, i advise you to get DVD because the computer reads the data better off the DVD. It worked for me coz i had the CD version and i had an Error 5009, so i went and got the DVD version, now it works, and i have completed the game.

I read something about renaming the Prey.exe to Doom3.exe to enable/fix SLI (although that could be outdated info with the latest (91.45) drivers).

Thanks for the replys, I dont think its windows problem due to the fact I have managed to run the game 3 times. Somehow.
I run on windows xp rather than vista.
Not really into betas.
