A pretty funny comic strip was brought to our attention in the last couple of days. We here at 3D Realms thought it was pretty darned funny, so we wanted to make sure you saw it too. It's from a webcomic called God Mode.

This particular strip ran on Monday September 24th. You can view the entire strip on their website here.

Obviously George and the gang has been working for Microsoft this whole time. In fact, I bet they have something to do with Vista's high system requires, DNF is hidden in the OS somewhere.

Ehh @ "wave of better first person shooters". Also why as he cringing at MC being Duke (a one-liner spewing, cliche hero - The impression I got from H1 and H2 is that MC was pretty much that)? Didn't find it very funny. Art is good, though.

Duke chomping on the cigar is great.

Arrgh! When the front page loaded, the first words I saw were "Duke Nukem," and for a brief millisecond I was full of excitement over the prospect of new news related to DNF. It would've made for the perfect birthday present. Then I noticed it was just the comic. =(

Oh well. At least it's an alright comic.
