Trouble downloading soundtrack
I bought Prey LE, and I went to DirectSong.com and entered my promo code...

etc...

So after I did all that I went to downloads, and click on the link to d/l it. I downloaded something called "Prey_Volume_1.exe," and I tried to open it. When I open it a dialog box pops up with the header "DirectSong Downloader," but the box just stays white... and no music is downloaded.

What do I do?

Do you have a firewall blocking it?

I didn't think about that. I have a one, but I'm not sure if it's blocking it. I'll disable my firewall and see if it works.

That's usually a firewall problem. Good call, NutWrench. Nice s/n, too.

superevilcube, check out www.directsong.com/support to see if there's anything there that will help. If not, post a new question and it'll be answered relatively quickly.

Well, I figured out it wasn't my firewall... 'cause I don't have one...

However, I got it working. I'm not really sure how though... I re-downloaded it using IE instead of Firefox (I think that was the problem), and I got it working.

Thanks for the help y'all

[I only have one lease left though... heh... ]

Try using Windows Media player to burn the tracks to a CD, then re-rip them as MP3s.

Hey superevilcube, your leases will be refreshed after a period of time.
