yeah you can switch modes you can either have ammo or health and spirit thinghy...

Wow those G15 keyboards sure are nice, I wouldn't mind having one of those.

maybe it is just my oppinion but i think these keyboards are completely useless.

You dont look away from the screen if you are playing a game .. especially in MP .. how the hell are you supposed to read it then ? Maybe in SP you can take a quick look on how much ammo you have left but thats about it.

The only time you can look on it is when someone fraggt you .. "uhh my keyboard tells me i am dead .. where would i be without it"

seriously .. why should i look all the way down just to see this little display (which doesnt even look really nice), if i can just look at the corner of my screen ?

you dont know how useful this is in battlefield 2, instead of pressing TAB each time you wanna check the score you just look at the screen, or if you need to know how much granades you have you look there too...

In prey, you turn off the HUD and you have all the screen free...feels more immersive...plus the added little features you dont get in the game like the compass or the direction you are (floor, walls, celiing etc.)

that said, its very useful in other things like checking your IM messages or Email while playing a game...

Do they keys rub off? I read a review that says the keys rub off so you don't know what was there.

no...they cant even rub off cause they are colorless/transparent so the light can be seen in each key...

For those of you that have a Logitech G-series Gaming KB, take a look at the LCD screen when you play Prey . Finaly have a game that supports it. For those of you that dont;

Shows your health (Tommy's and Spirit)
Show heading (N/E/S/W, and a little pointer)

and if you push one of the hardware buttons;

Shows ammo (Both normal and Alternate, if any)

I just recently got a G15v2 and I think the use of the LCD by Prey is fantastic. I appreciate the effort you guys put into this!
