Duke Nukem 3D Xbox Live Full Version
I have the original Duke Nukem Atomic Edition CD is there a way for me to use this to get Duke Nukem for Xbox Live for free?

unlikely you only have an license for an ms-dos copy you still have to buy an xbox license. you could sell your cd on amazon and convert the cash to an gift cert for an xbox copy.

I suggest you keep an eye on George's twitter. He's giving out codes for the XBL version all the time, even recently.

Sum up all earnings for Duke3d @ XBL, gog.com, Prey@ iPhone ... does it make sence that this could close the finance gap for DNF itself? what about salesfigures?
1$ a copy muliplyed by 1 million all together or so? would help

How many Prey and MaxPayne1&2 boxed-Versions are sold today? If 3DR got some bucks per box as co-producer also... Are these gone already into development of DNF, nothing left?

No. You can't do that.

it is an interesting idea i actually wonder if the 360 win 64 code from the xbox copy can be converted to the traditional windows os. after all the xbox 360 runs windows embedded for power pc.

The Xbox 360 (and original Xbox) does not run Windows. They may have the same API calls at times, but it is not Windows. It's a whole new OS.

Common misconception. It didn't.

One of the first questions I get when someone hears I work on Xbox is "So, what operating system do you guys use? Windows 2000, right?" I am honestly not sure where the Win2K misperception comes from, but Xbox runs a custom operating system built from the ground up. While our operating system exports many of the same APIs found in Win32 (e.g. CreateThread or WaitForSingleObject), not everything is there. For instance, there is no use for CreateWindow on Xbox - all graphics are done through (our own flavor of) Direct3D.
