Prey - A Platinum Hit!

I just saw an ad on Xbox Live for Prey. Apparently it is now a platinum hit!

With Perfect Dark: Zero being on that list as well... I'm not sure it's really a good thing.

Oh it is. This just means sales wise. If something sells well over its lifespan it gets this. Gears didn't get this cause it sold extremely well and so they could milk people's wallets. I got DOA4 as a Platinum Hit. It's like Greatest Hits on the PlayStation. It's a good thing usually. It means you get the game cheaper too.

I see Prey for the 360 for $16-$18 on the shelf. I hope that a lot of people buy it so it I can get games going online. Hardly anyone ever plays anymore.

In aus it's up there with Kany & Lynch + SoF:Payback when it comes to "returned" game under 7 days...not going into details

Anyways it's a horrible game...and yes it's IMHO.

SOF: Payback. What a bunch of stinking crap!
The only part that attracted me was the gore. But it's so ridiculous that the bad rest of the game doesn't keep you playing.

Platinum hits are saying that got many games of it and are wanting to sell them cheaper or more expensive. Its nothing special, but they know people will buy them if there labled different.
