So from forum results as of Nov. 15, 2007 we can determine (probably inaccurately, but what the hey ):

Most people that play are between 21-30 (35.36%)
Tied are 17-20 and 31-40 (each at 19.01%)
41-50 got third (12.93%)
Above 50 and below 17 (shame on you ) tied (each at 6.84%)

Now I added the results and got 99.99%. Makes you wonder, must be that "new math".

I'm 16 now, in May 17, and i played through demo once. I liked the game very much, so i went to buy me a full version. I replyayed it around 4 times, and i would like to try some mods. That time game was very expencive, but i'm not sorry that i bought it, because this game rocks.

I was yesterday there for the first time. And there were up to 5 players. What do you say, if me and you (and others of course), would make a deal, and come together there, and shoot each other as... heads?

Goes for me too!

Cool thread. Wonderful to see that there are so many people even older than me playing.

I only bought Prey today and haven't played the demo before (just upgraded the computer to a level where it wonät explode on installing the game... ) so I'll probably stay away for a few days until I've had a look at it. Afraid of 'dem spoilers...

You are never too old to play games, that's how I see it. I won't have as much time to play games later on, but still, I wouldn't quit no matter what. Games have been a joy for me since I was 5. Old Lucasart, Sierra, Apogee, and many others are fresh in my mind. Also played quite a bit of Amiga, and most of the consoles. Nowdays I am not that interested in consoles, before it was a 50-50 split between PC/Amiga vs. Consoles, now it's more like 99-1 split for PC.

Games are currently bashed the same way as books were when they were first introduced, most gamers are over 20years. Some research in US showed that most game buyers are indeed over 30.

evanazzo, there are more important things than games, but you should never stop gaming that's true Everything will have it's place.

Well, "game buyers" might be over 30 because they buy the games for their kids.

I'm over 50 and all the games I buy are for myself.
I thing its funny that many of the 30-somethings think of themselves as being older players.
Any over 60s yet? 4 more years and can propose a good friend of mine.

Re: Old(er) ppl playing Prey
I'm 17, been playing games since I was like 4 or 5. I've heard of Prey but never really knew much about since when it came out I couldn't really play it (My computer at the time wasn't that great). However since I have a job I plan to upgrade my computer and find myself a copy of Prey. I've heard some really good things about it so I was interested
