Max Payne 2 for art?!
One of the Rockstar guys showed me this. Appears to be some project/exhibit, and they've used Max Payne 2 for setting some scenes. You can read more about what it's supposed to illustrate and such at the site.

House in the Middle

Pretty cool how many people can be influenced from a game, there's also numerous artists and such that have talked about Max Payne and all

Edit: Oh and btw, that movie House in the Middle is an old information movie, basically the concept of it is that if you keep your house clean you might survive a nuke attack. Sounds hilarious, gotta love those old American information movies

Wow Bix, I find this whole art presentation so interesting. And it's very cool to see that some folks really took the time to appreciate the fine layer of detail Remedy put into all the game's environments (I spent half the game myself just admiring the geometry).

Thanks for the linkage!

What a co-incidence.
There's a contest going on for us Indian CG artists in an indian CG forum. Everybody is allowed to use their own-desired Software to express an environment. I already thought of making an extremely detailed set in MAXED2. And today I see this thing. Hope I'll be on the right track.

Ps, I'll compete with people using 3d Studio Max, Maya and SoftImage XSI.

That's an interesting idea. My favorite is this picture. It looks the most real to me. Though I can't recall what level it's taken in. Anyone know?

Upper East side or something like that. The level where you get a nice view of the city.
