Re: Which game needs a sequel?
I voted for one, I forgot to select a second game, grrr... anyhow, I voted for ROTT of course, that was just one of the best games for multiplayer and I loved the humour in it (God mode and Dog mode, heheh). HAD I voted for my second game like I should have, it would have been Blake Stone. I don't know why, but I liked that game. Shadow Warrior would have also been a good second pick I guess... but I think a new version of ROTT or maybe Blake Stone would be a hit if done right.

Re: Which game needs a sequel?
I picked ROTT and Bio Menace from the polls, but I'd also like to see a shadow warrior sequel.....if it's done right.
With ROTT's sequel (or "Ressurection Of The Triad" as I like to call it) Think Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory's team-objective based gameplay......in single player! You can choose any of the 5 original characters, each of whom have a specific role they fill on the team(Lorelei Ni: Stealth Assassin, Doug Wendt: Demolitions, etc.). In this way, the game can play out differently depending on who you pick with the other 4 characters filling supporting roles at several various intervals in the game where warranted(or even just as fire support in tough spots). Bio Menace could be done like DN:MP. Giving it updated 3d graphics while maintaining it's addictive side-scroller-style gameplay. And who wouldn't want to see Snake Logan make a come-back. Maybe he could even keep the mullet.....maybe not... Finally for Shadow Warrior's sequel. This one would be a bit tricky to do as the game got kind of a raw deal with it's dated engine and offensive stereotypes. Story-wise, I would say set it some years in the future and not have Lo Wang as the central character anymore but one of his students(he did have a dojo after all). Instead, Wang would fill the role of a supporting character, a guiding, yet immoral and lecherous, sensei of sorts (think Master Roshi from Dragon Ball Z). Gameplay-wise, I would say use the Max Payne engine with sword-fighting mechanics similar to Jedi Knight 2(blocking incoming shurikens/bullets with your sword, anyone?) That's it.....just thought I'd throw some ideas out there.

Keen (of course), OMG can you imagine a huge 3d dopefish???!
But there's no Secret Agent & Halloween Harry, they'd definitely get my vote. "... And the awesome OMEGA!" |

Re: Which game needs a sequel?
I picked Wacky Wheels and Bio Menace. For one Whacky Wheels was the only game my sister ever wanted to play. Soon after I was addicted and I was playing it all the time (Its Insane!!!).
Bio Menace had a great gameplay. Ok not the best graphics but the character was great. Yeah the way he chucked grenades was a little tense but I had a great time playing that game. In fact the only other game that is an apogee one that I still play besides Duke 3d is Bio Menace. And although its unrelated to apogee software I do really want a carmageddon 4. I was very disappointed at number three and if they could mix the best elements of 1 and 2, then they would have one truly killer game (no pun intended). The Chiropractor |

Re: Which game needs a sequel?
I vote for ROTT. There is no other GAME in history that I spent more time playing, (except maybe Epic Megagames' "Tyrian")
I lived, breathed and $#!+ ROTT for YEARS until I couldn't stand look at it anymore. I say, GIVE US A NEW ROTT GAME OR GIVE US DEATH |

Re: Which game needs a sequel?
Wacky Wheels and Death Rally, together, would make a great racing game with today's tech.
Wacky Wheels was the first multy-player game I played at home (forget Doom, WW ran on my PCs at the time much better ) |
