[SOLUTION] Can't get EAX on your X-Fi?

This resolves the Sound System setting reverting to System whenever you try to change it to OpenAL. When you installed the new drivers for your card, its mode was reset to Entertainment. You need to:

Open the Creative Console or Mode Switcher and change it to Game Mode.
Hit the Mixer tab and press the Enable EAX Effects checkbox in the top right, if they aren't on already.

Once you've done that, the option should stick. Be sure to enable Prey's EAX Advanced HD option on the same page as Sound System.

You also need the latest BETA driver for the card from Creative.

The option is only available after you follow the link to isntall them, so that hopefully won't be too much of a problem.
