I think people don't actually realize DNF is a PC game , Xbox version was forced by Take Two to be working along with DNF , they got some 2.8 million for that (unannounced game) , but when 3Drealms requested 6 million for DNF and xbox version , .. they did not get that money and all this started. From a developing standpoint it's really good to make console ports when the PC is already out atleast then you evade all the developlement hell cause multiplatform games SUCK and developing all at once isn't so easy, thus bad quality.

I think, the only thing that would make me not buy the game is Steam. I can deal with the ugly Games for Windows and the stupid software it installs without asking. But I fu**ing hate Steam, I will spend forever cracking the game so it wouldn't run on Steam.

I still don't like the PC cover, mainly because I hate that picture. The Apogee logo is hideously misplaced and there is no T2 logo.

Then why do I have this "Games for Windows Live" crap on my computer. I put the cd in, it said "Installing Software, Please Wait." Then it gave me the option to install the game. I never accepted an agreement for the first program to install, nor would I have, it installed itself without my permission.

You did. When you say "YES" to the EULA you let everything install. Why? Cause the game needs it. Not rocket science. Some games require to install Visual Basic runtimes you might not have installed. The installer installs it. OH OH I DON'T WANT IT BUT I WANT TO PLAY THE GAME. Sucks for you. If you don't like it, don't accept the EULA and cry.

Lrn2read. The second I put the CD in, it installs (not the game, just Games for Windows Live.), I accepted NOTHING. Hell the autorun didn't even load yet. Then the autorun pops up asking me if I wish to proceed with the installation THEN the EULA comes up. So you can take that "saying yes to the EULA" shit and shove it back up your ass. Maybe I have a defective disc or some shit, but don't act like you know everything like some smug overbearing analmonkey.

Some of these box mockup's are great!

RedSniper's is awesome. I love the "censored" tag across the boobs on the back of the box. We sort of had to fight to get that on the original box. There were arguments from the publisher and some retail people. Our argument was that nothing was as titillating and appealing as a "censored" bar. It made you wonder what you were missing and what you'd get if you bought the game.
