Post your "Prey" multiplayer names here!

Reading Joe's post about joining multiplayer "Prey" games got me thinking about multiplayer names.

I think the easiest way to recognize each other is trying to use our usernames here for the mp.

I want to be able to find fellow forum goers here online in the game(hope it has a buddy list) and 3dr/Human Head developers playing.

Now I realize that players from around the world will be playing this and user names do get taken up quickly. What is a good way to get around this?

Would 3dr object to letting us use for example:

[3dr]Kaisersoze

or Kaisersoze[3dr]

Anyone?

I'd likely call myself "Micki!" (WITH, the "!")
But some games don't support "!", so i might just call myself "Micki"

BUT, That's only if Prey doesn't have unique profile names, like in BF2... I hate that, because there i needed to call myself MickiFJ, because the "!" wasn't supported, and "Micki" was already taken...

Anyways, You'll recognize me...

Obviously we can't stop people from using anything, but it might not be good form to stick 3DR in there, as people might think you're from 3DR. What's wrong with your name - or the username you have here?

I've played many American servers (and i live in Denmark)
Most of them are on about 150 - 200 ping... Jut playable enough for me...
The connection i'm playing with is 2Mbit... I think we'll upgrade to 4Mbit soon though...

That's not a problem, we're not in the 14.4k days anymore

I can play on any server, on condition the server itself is good of course.

And you'll find me as Cerberus or Cerberus_e.

Not that much.
What you need is fastpath. Then you could have a 50% lower ping.

If you meet someone online in any game named Parkar it's with 99% chance me and if it's not it's probably someone from Pakistan or India or there abouts as it seems to be an actualy name there.

As for adding a tag to find others from here it does not have to be all abvious as 3drf or 3DRforums, pretty much anything would work as long as everyone here knows which one it is. i would vote for somthing realy short if anything at all, no matter what I'm not sure I would be using it anyway though.

Edit: A server of our own would be the best choice for playing each other if you ask me.

Normally when play the game (Cod 2 or Swat 4) in office with my colleagues I use "Santo" but when I play to PREY in order makes me to recognize I use "Antosa". Guys I would appeal to to play to MultiPrey one match to 3dR/HH vs forums user

Hah, that would be cool, but because of the ammount of people, i think we'd have to split in groups...

But i doubt this would happen... I hope to meet one of them individually (or maybe a few of them) someday though...

people actually wouldn't need to put a [3DR] or something there to make out each other, if everyone just used their board name. chances really aren't high that you will encounter someone with the same name.

just use on every i-net place, where you're active the same nick (as long as it isn't already taken).

Well I have never actually played online at all. I would like Prey to be first game I try playing online with.

If I do that I will use the same name as here, that is my real name.
