Coloured flashing lights
I've got some sectors that are uncoloured, and in them I have sector effectors tagged CHANNEL,4 (ie, flashing lights). I have made the SE's different colours (red, blue, yellow and green), but when they flash they light up the roof as well (which looks crappy).

I just want it so only the floor will flash different colours. Is this possible?

Nope. It is not. Unless it's under a sky.

You can do it with Eduke, not that you have it but it's a simple proceedure with it. So if you want to do it, it must be with Eduke.

Re: Coloured flashing lights
Well, if you were making it with Shadow Warrior you sould use a sector effector to disable it.
I know you can to prevent the changed (floor or cieling) palette from making LoWang go that colour like in Duke.

Which is yet another of SW 'smart' effects.

Re: Coloured flashing lights
It's more a case of 'it wasn't required in Duke3D'. Possible, just not actually doable.
