Mona doesn't die in the alternate ending, which you get when you beat the highest difficulty setting. I haven't beaten it, but I don't think I really care anymore. But they'll bring her back, is my point.

Even if the game sucks, I want to see the plot.

I think that there will have to be a new enemy revealed. All the enemies are dead now, aren't they? Woden, *sniff* Vinnie, Vlad, Horne- nobody is left!

I just think they should make a new graphics engine and release it for $50 and let the modders make the story.

Personally, story-wise, I don't even think there should have been a Max Payne 2.

The plot was perfect at the end of the first. He realized that he could never bring his loved ones back, and that killing their...em...killers didn't do anything but make matters worse. I think they should have made the game into another universe. Though the game was fun, the story was better at the end of the first.

(Tremendous) Payne decides to investigate, and realizes that fanatics, seeking to bring Nicole horne's work back to life, are erasing all tracks of Nicole's past history - in order to be able to distribute the drug named Fenris, (which stimulates your senses to an almost animalistic level) - were behind the "assumed" accident.

Oh no! Max Payne is trapped in a world where his enemies do not get defeated by gunshots only. The only way to kill em is to be as cool as possible during gunfights, doing flips and wallruns. The cooler he is, the more effectively he kills enemies.

Just had an idea.

Max Payne becomes a dentist. When he is giving a filling to a mob boss, who doesn't know Dr Payne()'s legacy. He purposefully cuts the mob boss's tongue off, and the mafia man flees, cursing Payne's name and swearing vengeance as much as he could without a tongune.

The mob boss then sends every mobster left in NY after Max, dearest of all our friends. Max has to use a completely new arsenal of dentist-based weapons to take down his foes (and kill their cavities while he's at it), such as a gigantic toothbrush that shoots miniature toothpaste packets instead of bullets, a gigantic drill that spins faster every time it hits an enemy in the mouth, and a tooth drill that sucks up teeth from your enemies- both living and dead- and fires them from your Tooth Blaster Rifle instead of bullets.

It will feature many revolutionary ideas, such as Toothache time- essentially bullet-time except it turns his enemies into gigantic teeth, making it easier for him to see and attack them- and Toothpaste painkillers, a plot focused on dentist-themed puns and jokes, and a full license to ToothEd 3.0. It will feature Pelvik, the new physics engine that treats all objects as a small tooth in a tube of toothpaste.

in MP3 i'm pretty sure that max will be fighting the last of the drug lords alongside Jim Bravura who didn't really die in MP2. you can see that this is true by the tv news broadcast that can be seen on the last level, that old familiar feeling. view the tv in the room right before you ride that elevator up to woden's bedroom. it'll foreshadow the plot from MP3.

I agree with it because the story was not presented in a manor in which it made it classic.


I disagree because we all knew mona was going to mess with his life again. I mean you know he loved her. Secondly there had to be a second game to show their love in more detail and show us how Max moved on with his life (or didn't move on).

The third max is gonna bring mona back.... and they are both going to die in a balze of glory. Its going to have a new graphics engine. It will be either a hit classic or a bomb no where in between
