Additional Prey content now available

Wanted to announce to people finally that the additional content that is being worked on for Prey will be free of charge.

This goes for both the PC side and the Xbox 360 side.

Just to remind folks, we're working on some new multiplayer skins (play as Jen, Elhuit, etc), and some new multiplayer maps. Both are coming along nicely, but the exact number of both is as of yet not finalized, so I can't tell you exactly what will be in the addtl content pack.

As usual, there's no date for this, the materials will be out "when they're done" (although sooner than later I'd imagine ), but given that I received the "official" word this afternoon, I wanted to let people know about it as soon as I found out.

Sorry to be so insistant, but Is the cd-check still going to be removed? maybe with this update hopefully? The game has crashed on me a couple times now when it started hitting on the cd drive mid-game, and I just get afraid my disc will wear out and stop reading(I've heard a lot of people say that it does'nt happen, but honest to god it did happen to me with Jedi Outcast).

Anyway IRTT, great news although I never really had any fear about that, a lot of PC game companies give out game content free, I'm sure HH and 3DR wants to stay competitive. Plus the way the word FUD was used over(I had to look up the definition when i first heard it) I don't know why but it always put my mind at ease.

This is important for us modders too. Debugging Doom 3 gamecode was nigh-on impossible before CD check/copy protection stuff was removed.

Available right now on the Xbox Live Marketplace is the "additional content" that has been promised. It's all free, and this is what you can download:
