Total Recall
Anyone else seen this yet?

Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWMhADqlPYg

Went to see it on thursday at the Odeon and must admit I found most of the film very disappointing. Although visually impressive at times, I found the film over relied on special effects, and the story (which was slightly altered from the original) didn't feel as fleshed out as the Arnie version.

There were a few nice moments like Spoiler:

Overall though I'd say this a flick you'd probably be better off waiting until it gets a release on DVD.

Quite honestly, I liked it. Great visuals and a different enough take on the original to please newcomers and old fans, IMHO.

It was terrible. The movie was good at the start, though the dream scene wasn't a generic dream so the whole is this real or not theme of the original is gone. Then it looks nice, but goes downhill from Rekall.

Two weeks callback is great. All other callbacks sucked.

Forgettable action-shlock with pretty visual-design. The film isn't terrible, it's just not very good, though it didn't fail to entertain me on some levels.
