A good sign for DNF I guess! Or put it this way: I hope Scott knows that he would piss of the whole Duke community if he just uses the DNF pics to promote the Duke trilogy for PSP and DS.

Scott isn't promoting the PSP/DS games. Those are by Apogee, Scott doesn't have anything to do with those.

Is it just me or do these pics look really "fake"?

I am not saying that they are actually fake but they certainly look very unnatural. like it's an amateurs work in Bryce 3d.
For example in the second pic the walls in the back look like "plastic/paper toys" or something like very fake... oh you know what i mean,right?

Considering there are only Scott, George and Bryan left at 3DR no wonder that nobody has time to make "real" screenshots from the game. It looks like Scott is trying to hype DNF with limited tools (know-how and manpower etc). It's Take 2's job to promote DNF, so lets see what they will do in the nearer future. There still needs to be atleast one kick ass trailer.

Kinda strange that they're putting out new shots, but still cool I guess.
The leaked design doc talked about a boss fight against a giant Battlelord. I'm actually kinda disappointed that that was real, because the design doc didn't really sound like the best game.

That said, the shots look a bit odd with all the blur and stuff, but still look pretty damn awesome.

Thinking years back, I think 3DR said when then will be ready with the game, they will slowly start showing off. I am sure I read something like this from some official 3DR employee's post here somewhere in the last 2 years. S does this mean They are indeed developing the game in a concealed way and the game is getting ready !!!

I swear I will get a heart attack if I walk into a game shop this christmas and see DNF there right in the shelf.

Oh and WoodenSword, the second picture for some reasons have the dam details fuzzed out. So I am sure once the fuzz filter is removed, it will look awsome like that giant monster.

Man looking at that monster makes me feel like crying now. Why is this gme not realed yet ? Why is this world so cruel ? Why do game developers and publishers want milllions and millions of dollars for themselves and fight over it ? Why ?!

I want this game now

Did anyone notice that from the first pic of the giant dam lord to the new pic, the giant dam lord is wearing different a type of armour, I mean his shoulder armour is gone in the new pic !! Perhaps it signalls a work in progress

Look at the gallery name, "Not my friends".Hes just posting pictures of Dukes enemies to flesh out Dukes facebook profile.Like hes posting pictures of Duke himself in the gallery "Damn I'm lookin' good".Its likely this is not about dnf in particular.

Actually I happen to know what that means.
The characters have detachable armors on them.
I don't remember if this was announced as being a feature but I do know that I have seen it in action in that Demo Reel released recently.
If you look at the end of the video you will see how the armors get blown to bits when the npc's get shot with the shotgun.
The more you shoot at the armors the more they tear to bits.
