Don't worry, all you ask for is there and coming. This was originally a level that Allen made and printed, to use as wrapping paper for our xmas party gift exchange. We thought it looked neat, tweaked it and released it as a wallpaper. There is a lot of color and whacky locations in the game. These are just some of the enemies. We're going for a non-cartoony style so you're not going to see lots and lots of color and camp on the enemies themselves

The picture is actually not the same used in the previous Twitter update, look at the Cycloid´s right claw, its partially opened, in the Twitter update, it was closed, also he was looking at a slightly different angle.

Seriously, I need to stop staring at that damn screenshot.

EDIT: Well, Mr Broussard himself said the image was tweaked to make it more wallpaper-ish.

Hmm, I wonder how many looks there are to the pigcop. In last years teaser he was still wearing a lot more of his EDF uniform but in this one he's only got on some torn pants. Either there're multiple models of the pigcop with different outfits, or the clothes are removable... I wonder which it is.

Speaking of removable clothes, that'd make stripteases all the more exciting

I want to know how the aliens are creating the pigs.. Why isnt it effecting Duke?

Here's an anti-aliased version, mostly around the edges of each character. The entire image itself isn't anti-aliased (not sure a technique to do this, had to do this by hand)

The assault trooper gun has improved A LOT since the teaser. Also the pig looks higher poly.

I hope the enemies will have some minor varition to them, if you are fighting 2 Pig cops, so that they don't look like 1:1 identical.

That big dude on the left is the battle-lord I think. He's sporting the loin cloth. It took me awhile to reconcile that due to his enormous size.

This is a comment george made at shacksnews regarding armor.In this shot you can see the battlelords brain and in the others he has armor covering it.The assault trooper has a mask in this one and i assume the battlelord carries a weapon.

Big Boy Cycloid looks amazing. The yellow'ed teeth contrast beautifully against the shiny-black eye.

The lighting seems off, I question the use of contrasting warm and cool light. Though it's impressive that it affects the skin tones that much.

(Ok, I see the "tweekage" comments. This makes sense)

Would Also like to see a greater distinction between textures and how they reflect or absord the light. ex: Skin, Armour, Cloth

My only gripe is the Battlelord's face.
He is missing his #1 identifiable feature, the 2 large "teeth" that stick out of his face.
I didn't even realize it was the Battlelord until I thought about it for a while.
