hi everybody, i am new to these forums and i've been following this game for awhile now (couple months).

i usually look at the gamefaqs.com forums boards but im getting tired of reading, Doom 3 this Quake 4 that. so i thought i'd check these forums out and so far i'm enjoying my time reading some of the topics, i really enjoy the topic of "Give Me The Demo Now". i have found some of the pictures really funny.

anyways, i was just saying hi and that i cant wait till the demo and final game of Prey.

I am also new here. I read an aritcle about Prey in a magazine and just had to check it out. I will be getting it for the PC most likely as the console generation has yet to realize how many people they could attrace if they would only support a mouse and keyboard.

I have read many post this morning and am impressed so far. It is diffucult to find a good forum that is not littered with smacktards. I look forward to the demo and upcoming release and hope to rant, vent, praise and in general discuss what looks to be a great game.

Not unless you're a moderator. There's no expiration date unless it's a poll (where you can specify a date on which people can no longer vote)--but the thread itself may get pruned in a year or two as to save server space.

New here, as well.
I haven't played a FPS since Quake 3. I have no idea why I'm so interested in this one. All I can say is that I'm hoping my PC can handle it-- and if not, I'm going to have to save up for a few fairly expensive upgrades.

It's great to be here, and see everyone's excitement. I do believe I'll be downloading the demo just to see what to expect as far as hardware madness, but I fear that I won't actually be able to jump in on any of the fun until later.

You're absolutely right about Gamespots forums... That place is not very good maintained aswell... Too few Mods to take care (or maybe they have enough..? in that case, they suck)

i just came from the gamefaqs/gamestop.com boards, and i agree with you. its always some sort of flame war going on, or people saying Prey is just doom 3 just with a different level disign or whatever, i found it annoying.. been here for couple days... and im enjoying it alot.

Well, as a warning, it's not very meaty, because the demo is about to be released, anyway, but they show you some video footage of gameplay, and talk about it a bit.. including some of the things you'll encounter...

Thanx man, ive never seen over 130 people browsing the Prey forums. Usually not more than 7-15 people :-) So i bet there will be loads more once the demo/full game is out
