Question Adding light souce to models?
Is it possible to add light sources to models and would EDuke32 or JFDuke support this? It'd be nice if some of the light type models and swithces gave off light

In software mode it is POSSIBLE. Some colors in palette can't be darker, they are independent of sprite brightness. So, with voxel models it is possible in software mode.

That used to REALLY annoy me back in the Dos days. Every time I tried to add new art to Duke, I had to edit it a million times just so parts of it wouldn't glow. What a pain in the ass!
