Other Forums for Max Payne 1 & 2 Modders
It' sad that this forum is to close down, & I hear many of you saying " where to now for the Max Payne 1 & 2 modding comunity".

Well i'd just like to make a few suggestions:

The L4Y web site has a pretty decent forums for both Max Payne 1 & 2 discussion & modding & they've just moved over to faster servers so I don't think there be closing down anytime soon. Plus there's also the added bonus that the L4Y web site also hosts most of, if not all of the Mods & user made tutorials ever made for the two titles, along with the official Tools & Tutorials.

Max Payne 1 at L4Y Link: http://maxpayne.levels4you.com/
Max Payne 2 at L4Y Link: http://maxpayne2.levels4you.com/

& there's aslo the ModDB site that host Max Payne 1 & 2 mods & discussion as well:

ModDB Link: http://www.moddb.com/

Plus, don't forget that the DeepSix website has just reopened with it's own Max Payne 1 & 2 forums & download pages. The sites all abit quite at the moment but if this site closes down then perhaps we should all get together to build a new comunity on the DeepSix web site.

As a giant Max Payne fan, I'd like to add that we can and may create additional forums (including Max Payne forums) on http://www.duke4.net -- Let's keep the community alive.

As admin of Remedy's Alan Wake forums, I'd like to mention that there's always our Max Payne forums as well. To be honest, we don't get many modders over there, but you're always welcome. Personally, I'd love to get something up and running there, and you never know, maybe the guys from Remedy will post feedback - like in the old days (no promises, mind). For what it's worth, the forum software is the same too.

Anyway, if anyone wants to contact me (who doesn't have my email); that's where you'll find me. I'm also on moddb and youtube.

Damn, I still can't believe this place is going to go.

Well I realised after I posted this info on the thread that you had started that it would have been better served on here ( the modding section ), for all to see.

But, hey man, so much for trying to help you out in the first place anyway....

Also for a knowledge base I have a tutorial site of essential MP2 modding here. I'm not even sure if some of these docs I have on the site are hosted anywhere anymore. Good think goecitities honors their free accounts.

book mark and bookmark...i'll keep it in mind when i resume my mod. I guess I should give the Alan Wake forums a try, I've avoided them for nearly 3 yrs ....but the mix of familiar and new would be a nice change.
