And subscipers get it even earlier, so the wait won't be that long.

Yep, the June issue shoudl arrive in my mail box by the end of April. PC Gamer does 13 issues a year, not just twelve. So they kindof go in a wierd order.

Their 13th issue is their "Holiday Special" issue.

You're missing the point. Whether or not Prey is those things is irrelevant. The only truth is the magazine calls it a franchise. Right or wrong, who cares? They hype things to death, just like pretty much everyone in gaming journalism.

May issue of pcgamer came out on march 22 so I would assume the June issue will be out on April 22 but with publishing you never know if there is a holdup it could delay shipping tman

I just signed up for the June issue. I demand it show up at my house this month or I'm gonna go postal at the PC Gamer office.

true and i said as much in an earlier post. pcgamer are notorious for overhyping their announcements and for baiting dnf fans(that's my opinion).

So (hypothetically)...which game would consume your time, DNF or Prey? **After watching the old' Prey '98 video/demo...It would be a close call (assuming they were both released same week).

Here's what is actualy in on the back page.

"In 28 days, it's ANOTHER WORLD-EXCLUSIVE announcement that will be found only on our pages. One of the biggest franchises in PC gaming makes its triumphant return, and we'll have all the details."

Prey can't really make a triumphant return, it never actualy had a stable start.
It's not going to be DNF. Even though Prey isn't an in house game, it's going to be labelled by most a creation of 3drealms, and because of 3drealms name recognition it makes good busniess sense for both companys to label it as such.

This is going to be Prey.. Were all gonna have to wait a little longer for DNF... Of course I wouldnt mind being proved wrong on this one....

How can Prey be "the return of one of the "biggest" gaming franchies." when there has never been released a prey game??
