I wouldn't say the franchise is dead. Dying, with a chance of recovery, yes. But that only applies to DNF, not Duke.

It can be salvaged, although I doubt laying off the team and closing shop was the most mature way to do it.

I think the one good thing about the Duke Fiasco is Motorbikes. Because cars have doors.
