Respawn Markers?
Hello, new poster here. Let me start off by saying that I recently downloaded Duke Nukem 3D from the Xbox Live Marketplace and I absolutely love it. Me and my friends really enjoy playing co-op and working our way through the levels.
We were a bit curious as to what these 'Respawn Markers' do though. We have tried playing co-op with them On and Off, but we don't notice any difference in gameplay. We thought if we had these markers turned on, we would be able to spawn on each other upon death...but thats not the case. Would one of you veterans please explain to me what these are and what they do? Thanks |

Re: Respawn Markers?
As far as I know (I have never played the 360 version because I don't have one of these... oxobox things...) when you pick an item up (Like Ammo/Atomic Health) a spinning nuke symbol will appear where the item was, it will be red and rotating, it will soon go yellow and speed up and finally green, the item then respawns.
I might be wrong though, but I'm sure this is what it does, though it might only be in DukeMatch that this happens.

Re: Respawn Markers?
In co-op, you will always spawn at the beginning of the map (the original start-pos from single player games). I don't remember if respawn markers were on/off with co-op on the 360 version, I suppose they're on.
