Duke it out in D.C. installation trouble.
This is my first post...hope I don't screw it up.
I managed to get a copy of Duke it out in DC. The only problem is when using DOSBox with it whenever it asks for the Duke3D directory it can't ever find it. I have the original disc for 3D and all! I don't know why it does this. |

@Mamma Luigi - was there any need?
@Cyrax - Chances are that you haven't mounted the drive that Duke3D is in, you don't need to use DosBOX anyway, you want to get Duke 3D running in a port, I reccomend EDuke32; http://www.eduke32.com/ < Put that in your Duke3D Directory and start it up, you might not be able to use the advanced features of the port if your computer is sow and old, but you won't need dosbox and things will be much easier for you. Once you know the port works close it. Now open your Duke it out in D.C. disc and copy DUKEDCPP.SSI to your Duke3D directory, now unpack this; http://archive.dukertcm.com/knowledg...kedc_patch.zip to your Duke3D directory and run the patch, it will create DukeDC.grp I can't really remember how to get it running, I think you would need to make a batch file for it (open notepad) like this Code:
START EDUKE32.EXE -gDukeDC.grp
